Bart Price, MD

Dr. Price has been in private practice in Sarasota since 1999. He is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He graduated from Georgetown Univer-sity School of Medicine in 1993. He completed his internship and residency at Georgetown Uni-versity Hospital from 1993 - 1996. Dr Price was in private practice in Miami, Florida from 1996-1999. He is a primary-care doctor who performs physical exams and treats a wide spectrum of illnesses in adults. He is skilled in multi-system illnesses and situations where several illness-es afflict a patient at once. Together with his patients, Dr. Price forms a plan that can include additional testing if needed, a referral to see a specialist, medication prescriptions, therapies, changes to diet or lifestyle, additional patient education, or follow-up treatment. Patients re-ceive advice on improving health behaviors, treatment, screening tests and immunizations. Dr. Price is affiliated with Sarasota Memorial Health Care System and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Sarasota Ballet.
